If your little yogi is looking for a traditional yoga practice, the studio is a great place to start. Katie currently offers classes for children ages 3.5-6 at Sadhana Yoga Boston. This studio is a wonderful setting for your child to learn yoga, engage with friends, and have fun! Katie's studio classes cover a variety of yoga techniques including breathing exercises, asanas (poses), games, crafts, and meditations.

If your little yogi would like to engage in the practice of yoga with friends from school, Katie's school yoga programs offer a great place to learn. Katie currently offers after-school yoga classes for children grades K-2 at Solomon Schechter Day School. School is a fantastic space for your child to learn yoga as the sport can help relax the mind and the body after a full day of academics. Similar to the studio, Katie's school-based classes cover a variety of yoga techniques including breathing exercises, asanas (poses), games, crafts and meditations.

One of Katie's specialties is offering private lessons in childs' homes. This allows the child to be in an atmosphere that is most comfortable to him or her, so that he or she can truly focus on the practice. Offering classes in clients' homes allows Katie the opportunity to build lessons specifically for each individual child's wants and needs. In the past, Katie has offered private lessons to children who have found it difficult to concentrate in the studio or in school. She's also offered lessons to children with physical needs that are more suitable with one-on-one attention. Private lessons are available to all age groups and levels.
